Social Ministry
GOD’S INTERFAITH FOOD TABLE (GIFT)
is a food pantry that provides temporary assistance to needy families. It is the joint effort of four Berlin Churches:
- Berlin Baptist Church
- The Church of the Good Shepherd
- Holy Communion Lutheran Church
- Centenary United Methodist Church
Food is distributed from the social hall of:

Applicants are allowed two visits per month.
The food distribution schedule is as follows:
- 1st and 2nd Wednesday of each month- 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- 3rd and 4th Thursday of each month- 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Proper identification is required.
While it is the policy of GIFT and its sponsor churches not to turn away anyone in need, we ask that applicants/clients provide State aid information, if available, such as: SSI, WIC, Unemployment, Medicaid, or Food Stamp Program.
The GIFT program is supported by volunteers who purchase food from The Food Bank of South Jersey and pack the grocery bags. Anyone may help, to be a volunteer or for additional details please contact Jon Hundertmark at 856-768-1694 or Evelyn Schulkins-Chaka at 856-767-6238.
