Music Ministry

Mark Dishong, Director of Music

Music is a vibrant part of Christian life at Holy Communion. Whether it is the music of Bach and Luther, or Marty Haugen and Twila Paris we sing the praise of God every week at our two weekly services. The 8:15 service is highlighted by the Lutheran Book of Worship and more traditional music. The 11:00 "Joyful Noise" service is led by the Crossroads Band and Singers that lead eclectic songs of praise from With One Voice, Worship and Praise, and This Far by Faith, as well as other contemporary Christian music.

The Adult Choir, Bell Choir, God's Kid's Choir, and Sunday School choirs present special music at both 8:15 and 11:00 services. All are invited to participate in these groups to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord!"
